3=2 Variations
Having explored the physical modularity of a bookshelf that adapts to my nomadic life, followed by the Abstract Library (a material abstraction in 1 mm aluminium), I felt the need to transcend the constraints of the object itself. I have liberated my process from the strict materiality once implied by the 3=2 logic to venture further into a secondary layer of abstraction.
Through geometric painting, silk-print, and collage on paper or canvas, the work has evolved into what I call 'instantaneous visions.' These pieces are no longer anchored by the weight of a shelf, but by my state of mind in a specific moment. They are rhythmic snapshots of colour and form, where the complexity arises instinctively. If the original library was a vessel for 'silent memories,' these Variations and Fantasies are the music of those memories: an intuitive, polychromatic quest for a serene and collective harmony.
